S.S.S.Samiti’s PU College of Commerce started in 1968 at Shedbal, Dist: Belagavi. In the year 1972 college shifted from Shedbal to Belagavi due to severe drought. Late Jagadish A. Savadatti Former President of S.S.S.Samiti’s Ltd has donated generously and contributed towards establishing and strengthening the education system of our Samiti family. He is the Prime Donor hence P U College is named as Jagadish A. Savadatti Pre University College of Commerce. Every year we celebrate Donor’s Day on 2 nd November which is birthday of Late Er. Jagadish.A.Savadatti Sir. PUC College is situated on a congenial natural setting at northern outskirt of Belagavi City, i.e. at the top of height of M.M. Extension, Belagavi is 1 Km away from Central Bus stand of Belagavi on Kolhapur Road provided ideal atmosphere for academic pursuit. The teaching staff is highly qualified, having experience more than 10 years, and expert in teaching their respective subjects. We also have well qualified non-teaching staff.
